JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Commitment to quality and doing it right

  • Experience designing, deploying and managing infrastructure solutions

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand the regulatory environment, and values and abilities consistent with the FCA Conduct Rules
  • Identify, diagnose, research, track and resolve technical issues within current product offerings while also investing in next generation products and services
  • Design, deploy, secure, and maintain Azure solutions including Entra ID, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Services, Azure virtual networks, Exchange Online, and Intune
  • Implement and maintain Azure security best practices, and Microsoft Defender products and services
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, implementing appropriate mitigation measures
  • Collaborate on the implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data governance standards
  • Work closely with Data and AI teams to ensure their Azure-based solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained correctly and securely
  • Provide guidance on Azure services relevant to Data and AI teams, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory and Azure OpenAI
  • Participate in joint projects to integrate Data and AI solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless operation and data flow
  • Design, implement and maintain on-premises infrastructure solutions using technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Oracle, VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Cisco Switches and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline operational tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues across hybrid environments
