Responsibilities:
- Providing project support in the maintenance and migration of Infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to internal support teams through escalations.
- Develop and document technical infrastructure solution designs and specifications that satisfy the functional and technical requirements.
- Assess technical options for each solution in Infrastructure implementation projects; evaluate possible technologies; make and defend technology recommendations.
- Decompose technical solution specifications into work packages; document prerequisites and dependencies for the work packages; and estimate the level of effort and resource level/skill necessary to implement each work package.
- Develop technical proofs of concept, as necessary, to validate proposed solutions designs, reduce technical risk and minimize level of effort uncertainty.
- There will be a requirement to travel to RM offices in the UK, sometimes at short notice.
- There may be a requirement to visit RM offices outside the UK on occasion.
