Speechmatics are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to tackle technical challenges related to datacenter HPC hardware, Layer 2/3 networking, and Linux OS automation. As part of a team, you’ll help design, implement, and enhance the infrastructure and systems supporting our company. You will collaborate with other teams to improve reliability and performance of internal services and machine learnings workloads.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, configure, and deploy new compute, network, storage, and specialist security infrastructure, ensuring correct configuration and up to date with latest patches.
  • Resolve escalations and issues, improve the internal customer experience, and drive initiatives that increase success of other teams’ projects.
  • Assisting with migration of VMware infrastructure to Kubernetes.
  • Implement new cost-efficient solutions according to budgets, develop capacity plans to optimise existing and future usage of internal resources.
  • Examine, refine, and develop the existing monitoring and metrics of the company’s internal infrastructure.
  • Coordinate comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations
