Description:

INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER

The Tech Service Team at Great Places is essential in providing our colleagues with a modern and innovative infrastructure platform. We have a cloud first philosophy and are continuing our journey to Azure; we like to be ahead of the curve. We are keen to develop our inhouse capabilities and are looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager who has broad experience to lead our team onto the next phase of our journey.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a team of Infrastructure Specialists delivering projects for Great Places Housing Group and providing BAU technical support.
  • Managing and monitoring of Great Places Azure and on premises infrastructure to ensure system stability.
  • Provide strong change management leadership to ensure changes are implemented smoothly with minimal disruption
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure security specialist to ensure the highest level of cyber security
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement including process and automation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of IT Infrastructure.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to ensure all delivered solution are comprehensively documented.

What you will need

  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, ideally including team leader responsibilities
  • Experience of Active Directory Configuration including LDAP structures
  • Experience of running a complex IT infrastructure, including Networking, Office365 and Cloud applications
  • Excellent problem-solving/ troubleshooting abilities, and confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
