Applications are invited for the permanent position of Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Senior Manager within the PepsiCo IT team based in Carrigaline, Cork.
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. The Infrastructure & Operations Senior Manager is a key role with the PepsiCo IT team. The role is responsible for the IT Operations and Delivery of the I&O strategy for PGCS. The role has multiple technical teams reporting into it across several geographies and supporting PGCS plants in 8 countries. The teams include Compute, Networks and Workplace Services (WPS) with ~10 PGCS & ~8 contract resources, and 3rd party suppliers in managed services.
This global position leads all Infrastructure Operations & Delivery for PGCS, ensuring the IT infrastructure fully supports PGCS operating business needs and is maintained to PepsiCo IT global standards. The role has responsibility for IT Delivery to PGCS including, IT-OT and IT delivery to Engineering programs and plant/field operations and delivery for PGCS. The remit includes International Beverages executive support.
The incumbent will interact on an on-going basis with the senior IT leads in PGCS and with other global /sector counterparts at a senior level throughout PepsiCo. With the critical nature of supply that flows through PGCS, this is a key role to ensure IT is delivering the service level needs across the full scope of PGCS’ global operations.

    For the purposes of external advertising, we have called this role an Infrastructure & Operations Senior Manager. However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will have will be Strategy & Transformation, Infrastructure & Operations Sr Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all PGCS IT Infrastructure & Operations including delivery (compute, network & workplace services).
  • Responsible for the delivery of the IT Sector I&O Plan (AOP) based on PGCS IT needs. AOP management of baseline and investment spend associated with responsibilities. Providing forecast to PGCS plants for capital expenditure based on Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)
  • Stakeholder management within Enterprise Services, CISO, PMO, plant IT teams and PGCS business.
  • Manage and support the Sector I&O team in line with PepsiCo best practice and policy. Ensures appropriate staffing levels/staffing sourcing to meet strategic and tactical needs.
  • Operates in partnership with the BRM, Enterprise Solutions, Security/EA and PMO organizations on tactical and strategic issues as well as day-to-day operational activities.
  • Provide oversight and management of I&O solution delivery across multiple projects, functions and locations. Manages organizational goals for IT Sector I&O and ensures they are met or exceeded by the team.
  • Manages all key metrics to ensure service level targets are met for PGCS. Support for Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Program (BCP) and ensures execution for DR/BCP and Security/Risk program execution for PGCS.
  • Managing operations for compute (infrastructure), Operations Technology (OT) for manufacturing, network (including video conferencing) & workplace services infra (desktop, laptop phone) that supports the PGCS business functions located in data centers and PGCS field sites/Distribution Centre’s
  • Planning and delivering compute, network, end user and secure enclave infra associated with PGCS digital transformation programs (Digital Factory, Digital Labs, Digital Asset Security, Gemini)
  • Manage engagement and escalation with PGCS & Global IT teams, represent PGCS at Compute, Network, Workplace Services at global IT forums
    IT management of the IB Dublin office and the associated executive stakeholder management
