Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a DB2 Infrastructure Technician, you will:
- Be an expert in DB2 on z/OS, focusing on system-level understanding.
- Work with a team to upgrade DB2 for z/OS.
- Provide support round-the-clock along with your team.
- Handle tasks like fine-tuning performance, managing patches, and preparing for DB2 changes.
- Assist DBAs with technical support.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- 5 to 10+ years of experience with DB2 and z/OS.
- Knowledgeable in DB2 Systems programming.
- Hands-on experience with IBM DB2 products.
- Experience in upgrading DB2 on z/OS.
- Familiarity with 3rd Party products like CA Platinum.
- Experience with upgrading Tools and PTFs.
SECONDARY/PREFERRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with additional 3rd party products such as AQT.
