DESCRIPTION:

Join our global IMS team as an IMS Systems Programmer, responsible for runtime and one-time tasks. Your role involves supporting shared services for various customers, executing technical activities within the IMS domain, and ensuring system performance and service level maintenance. You´ll troubleshoot, plan and implement software, manage the IMS lifecycle, conduct disaster recovery planning, offer technical consultation, and automate tasks.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Proficiency in IMS environments and database organization
• Knowledge of DLI and DBRC components
• Expertise in defining, installing, and modifying IMS resources
• Configuration and management of IMS in parallel sysplex environments
• Familiarity with IMS Catalog and managed ACBs
• Understanding of logical data models
• Proficiency in z/OS, JCL, and IMSTOOLS
• Automation skills with Netview
• Programming experience with JCL, Rexx, DL/1, ISPF
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Basic assembler knowledge

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Assembler programming
• Familiarity with MQ, DB2, and CICS
• Knowledge of ACF2, RACF, TOP SECRET
• Experience in creating and modifying assembler language exits
• Proficiency in SMP/E for mainframe software upgrades
