INJECTION MOLDING MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
2-3 years of injection molding experience.
Proficiency with tools and measuring devices.
- Education in relevant field preferred.
- Familiarity with Haitian and/or Battenfeld machines.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong team collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical fitness for the demands of the role.
- Able to pass criminal background check confidently.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm + OT
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain injection molding processes for optimal efficiency.
- Able to understand and diagnose problems in the molding process.
- Able to change screws, tips, heater bands, pull machine apart, fixing and adjusting.
- Mold making, CNC experience an asset.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Train and supervise manufacturing staff on machine operation and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and quality issues.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to schedule tool setups.
- Conduct regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Monitor and manage regrind inventories to reduce costs.
- Oversee tool preparation and maintenance.
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
