INJECTION MOLDING MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 2-3 years of injection molding experience.

  • Proficiency with tools and measuring devices.

  • Education in relevant field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Haitian and/or Battenfeld machines.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong team collaboration and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Physical fitness for the demands of the role.
  • Able to pass criminal background check confidently.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm + OT

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain injection molding processes for optimal efficiency.
  • Able to understand and diagnose problems in the molding process.
  • Able to change screws, tips, heater bands, pull machine apart, fixing and adjusting.
  • Mold making, CNC experience an asset.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Train and supervise manufacturing staff on machine operation and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to schedule tool setups.
  • Conduct regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Monitor and manage regrind inventories to reduce costs.
  • Oversee tool preparation and maintenance.
  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
