INJURY CLAIMS HANDLER

- 35 hour working week, Monday to Friday with no weekend work
- This is a hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in our Head Office in Tiddington, Stratford Upon Avon, after initial training
Responsibilities:
As an Injury Claims Handler, you’ll be responsible for investigating and processing claims with precision and care, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your role will be crucial in preventing loss and fraud while providing exceptional customer service and fair outcomes.
You’ll drive a portfolio of injury claims to settlement within acceptable cost parameters, as well as identify suspicious claims for further investigation. As a role model to the team for the quality of your work and positive approach, you will keep case reserves accurate and up to date, ensuring liability is decided early with appropriate cases retained in the portal.
Negotiating with third party solicitors over the phone will be one of your key responsibilities, as well updating key stakeholders and suppliers on the progress of claims. You’ll perform thorough quality reviews, ensuring early liability decisions and timely acquisition of evidence to ensure litigation readiness in cases with a defence.
