  • Join a dynamic and professional team of injury claim experts where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Enjoy your work life balance with a structured 35 hours week, Monday to Friday with no weekend work
  • This is a hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford upon Avon after successful probation

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Large Corporate Insurance Injury team based in Stratford upon Avon.
As an Injury Claims Handler, you’ll investigate and process claims within limits of authority and in accordance with requirements, applying criteria to prevent loss and fraud. You’ll detect and address suspicious activities, appointing necessary suppliers and experts while keeping all stakeholders informed. You’ll drive a portfolio of injury claims to settlement within a £50,000 limit of authority within acceptable cost parameters using your negotiation skills as well as identify suspicious claims for further investigation. You’ll ensure liability is decided as early as possible, facilitating an efficient claims handling process.
As a role model to the team for the quality of your work, you will keep case reserves accurate and up to date, ensuring liability is decided early with appropriate cases retained in the portal. Our team work closely with other NFU Mutual departments such as underwriting, brokers and Agencies so you’ll build and maintain relationships to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and first-class customer service.
We’ll provide you with ongoing training and development to ensure you’re equipped with all the knowledge and tools you need to perform at your best. We understand how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment, and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home once you’ve successfully completed probation.
