Injury Management Specialist
- Contract role - Newcastle office however would consider Parramatta (travel once per fortnight)
- Hybrid role - 2 days in office

Responsibilities:
QBE’s Nominal Insurer business has been growing steadily and successfully since 2023. Reporting into the Manager, Injury Management, we are seeking a passionate Injury Management Specialist to provide coaching and support to a small to medium employer team; as well as contribute to the broader business success. The role will include:
- Provide proactive, expert injury management advice to claims staff and customers.
- Identify opportunities to review, develop and modify processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines in line with best practice.
- Comply with regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to medical and injury management intervention.
- Coach and empower case managers as they work closely with small to medium employers.
- Work collaboratively with a team of injury management specialists to contribute to the overall strategy and capability of injury management across the business.
About you
- Extensive experience in a workers’ compensation claims role or"similar"role”
- Formal qualifications in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory and/or workplace-based rehabilitation experience
- Broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management.
- Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills.
