Responsibilities:

What will I do?

  • Support the ORE Catapult Senior Innovation Manager and Senior Management Team in delivering their business plan objectives, technically, commercially and with vision
  • Identify and develop high quality projects and programmes through collaborations and funding applications that deliver a revenue stream and develop capability for the ORE Catapult
  • Assist with the development of written deliverables such as internal research and business plans, external technology foresight roadmaps and conference presentations
  • Identify and support development of commercialisation opportunities for ORE Catapult products and services.
  • Contribute to development of the business through improvements to innovation management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the governance processes of the ORE Catapult.
  • Establish strong links with the ORE Catapult partners (industry and academic)

What are we looking for?

  • Degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a science, engineering or business discipline
  • Understanding of the Offshore Energy Sector
  • Understanding of public and private sector funding models
  • Excellent report writing for internal and external publication
  • Strong data gathering skills through consultation, questionnaires and workshops
  • Ability to collate, assess and analyse industry priorities and other data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
