Description:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing startup teams, managing complex projects and working with corporate clients. The Innovation Manager will be responsible for overseeing key projects of the Entrepreneur & Startup Center, including supporting students and startups, collaborating with partners and investors, and organizing courses, workshops, and events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Technology, or a related field
- Experience in the startup space, with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and delegate responsibilities
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills (in Italian and English)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with proven experience working with key development methods and tools (ex. agile, scrum, lean startup…)
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as: Ai, Blockchain, AR/VR, IoT, Big Data…
- Strong teaching skills with ability to convey technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms and work collaboratively with students and cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing early-stage startups; including scouting, evaluations, negotiations and management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Open Innovation projects with European startups, corporate partners and early-stage investors.
- Work in a fast-fasted team to design and manage innovative pre-Accelerator and Accelerator programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and investors to provide resources and support to startups.
- Develop and manage methods, tools, and best practices for the Entrepreneur & Startup Center.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students & startups, helping them to grow and succeed in their projects.
- Teach college level courses covering the themes of Entrepreneurship, Startups and Open Innovation.
- Manage and support events, workshops, and other activities that promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the H-FARM eco-system.
- Represent H-Farm and the Entrepreneur & Startup Center in external events and initiatives.
