Description:
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join the HPE team at Dicker Data. As an ISR, you will be the primary point of contact for new reseller requests and queries for the HPE portfolio, which could range from new opportunity quoting and special pricing to order placement and order tracking. You will work with internal Dicker Data HPE team members to meet these requests and ensure that we respond within customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
- Drive the adoption of HPE products & solutions within the Dicker Data sales team and the Dicker Data reseller channel. Be the central point of contact for HPE-related reseller requirements within Dicker Data, including quotes and product recommendations.
- Request special pricing from HPE for opportunities using the Partner Portal. Create quotes and send them to resellers when the special pricing has been approved. Work with the HPE sales team on special pricing bids for managed end-user accounts.
- Manage expiring special pricing quotes from HPE so pricing remains current for open opportunities.
- Develop a high level of understanding and competency of the product portfolio. Attend relevant courses and conferences.
- Assist the HPE Business Unit Manager where required. Communicate regularly with resellers on their open cases with our team.
- Manage quotes and orders for new HPE Services and renewal contracts.
- Provide backup for the other HPE ISR’s when required, including HPE support contracts, HPE Financial Services, and general HPE inquiries.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Minimum of 2 years of successful administrative and sales experience.
- IT industry experience and/or qualification is preferred, knowledge of networking products would be an advantage.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Proactive orientation with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
