Job Description:

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant technical qualification in suitable discipline, Physics or Engineering desired but equivalent experience considered in lieu.
  • Experience in Customer Service / Sales Environment
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong commercial/business acumen.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office 365
  • ERP & CRM knowledge desirable
  • Interest in technology and manufacturing

Responsibilities:

  • Manage quoting process from enquiry to order acceptance through our global CRM system
  • Source and generate new sales opportunities and orders through inbound lead consulting and outbound prospecting activities.
  • Support the Regional Sales Teams in developing our relationships with Customers.
  • Work closely with German SOP:
  • Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage order fulfilment and delivery schedules.
  • Address order-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
  • Support the general co-ordination of our Service Center for Europe based in the Meerbusch facility.
  • Coordination of demonstration stock to ensure the sales networks are continuously supported.
  • As part of the global inside sales team, act as the day-to-day contact for all sales channels.
  • Provide quotations and application consultancy.
  • Proactive pipeline management and chasing of opportunities.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications within the company CRM.
  • Generate reports as needed to support sales and management decision-making processes.
  • Provide valued support to Channel Partners by promptly replying to their needs, providing guidance and ensuring a strong drive to results.
  • Provide technical and general office assistance to the wider LAND business unit as/when required
