Description:

Inside Sales and Operations Specialist will maintain effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the sales force and provide outstanding customer support to internal and external customers. This position works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion. Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
Inside Sales and Operation Specialist will be the bridge of Field Sales Team and Inside Sales Team. This role will be leading all sales operations and assigned programs in the division.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs daily processing of all operational aspects of orders, including but not limited to payments and refunds
  • Responds to order-related information requests from Sales, Receiving, Customer Service, and other departments throughout the organization
  • Records information and ensures quality of data in CRM and other internal systems that support sales, production, and financial management
  • Continuous development of CRM Process
  • Investigates system discrepancies quickly and finalizes solutions
  • Coordinates with Finance and Tech Teams to ensure orders and payments are accurately captured in all downstream systems
  • Keeps up to date with DC Order Ops colleagues with similar functional specialties, to help ensure consistency of process across Teams
  • Articulates specific ideas on how to further refine systems or processes
  • Assist with quote to cash process and order management operations, including quote generation, pricing requests, discount, and custom contracts
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to learn and identify business needs and help facilitate the end-to-end deal process (e.g., deal structuring, approvals, and order management)
  • Ensuring sales process adoption and compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement in the sales process and systems to ensure greater sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Oversees Trade-in process and coordinates opportunities with Merchandising and Operations Teams
  • Manage drop-ship orders
  • Agency cold calls and emails to generate business as needed
  • Work closely with Purchasing Department to procure items for order
  • Attend tradeshows when needed
  • Sort and respond Help Scout emails and communicate the information to Territory Manager
  • Responsible for backorder’s reports and processes
  • Work closely with Shipping Department to ensure Gov Orders ship on time
  • Create and coordinate agency bundles
  • Field Sales support on (but limited to); product availability, adding new contacts into CRM, territory Heat Maps, set up Vendors
  • Continue development of agency relationships and agency visits or demo as needed
  • Evaluating sales processes and procedures, develop new processes and manage Sales KPI’s
  • Work closely with other departments for website updates and implementations
