DG serves a broad range of industries including automotive, truck, bus, agricultural, construction, industrial-stationary and the Government.
DG is seeking, highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to be responsible for incoming and outgoing customer communication. Organize and analyze customer communication metrics. Assist Sales Engineers, Account Managers, Department Managers and act as a liaison between other departments as necessary. This full-time position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer Communication
  • Interact with existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Send out information based on customer inquiries
  • Communication Metrics
  • Organize and analyze customer metrics.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on communication to manager.
  • Sales Support
  • Assist Sales Engineers and Account Mangers in preparing and delivering customer presentations
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop effective sales tactics.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to overall success of sales department
  • Use CRM software and tools
  • Develop relationships with potential customers
  • Create quotes and send to customers
  • Other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years Technical Customer Service experience
  • 1-3 years Technical Sales experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms, CRM systems and Quotewerks preferred.
  • Communicate effectively and cooperate with others.
  • Organized, motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Friendly and flexible team player
