As an Inside Sales Representative (or as we internally call the role: Personal Hearing Guide (PHG)) you will use active listening skills and a consultative sales approach to quickly build rapport and trust, address the client’s needs and concerns, and gain commitment to move forward with the Eargo solution - all without interacting face to face. Our PHGs provide a premium experience that leaves the client feeling informed and confident in their decision.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year college degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in consultative sales, with a strong focus on active listening, building client relationships, and closing.
  • Ability to remain focused and work independently in a remote environment, with a strong sense of internal motivation and initiative.
  • Strong relationship building and counseling skills.
  • Ability to manage time well and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and composure.
  • Quickly able to embrace, learn, and apply changes and new procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous telesales experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite preferred.
  • Previous experience in consultative sales of a complex product is a plus.
  • Experience with Five9 and SalesForce CRM is a plus.
  • Strong desire to work in an innovative and dynamic company.
    Salary range posted is for base salary. Eligible to earn monthly commission as well. OTE, can expect to earn additional $4-6k per month in commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the hearing care industry and key business drivers and apply this knowledge to meet performance expectations.
  • Educate and close prospective clients.
  • Exercise your persuasive negotiating skills to influence outcomes and successfully overcome prospect objections.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with prospects.
  • Update the prospect interaction in SalesForce CRM.
  • Consistently achieve sales quota while striving to incrementally improve month-over- month.
  • Develop and maintain a strong referral network of satisfied clients that refer friends and family to Eargo.
  • Maintain a holistic understanding of the Eargo business model as it adapts and grows.
  • Continue to enhance and develop your professional skill set through ongoing learning and development.
  • Interact with clients via multiple mediums including email, phone and text, including making 80-100 calls per day on average.
  • Consistently achieves monthly/quarterly Key Performance Indicators.
