Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (TO NAME A FEW):

The Insides Sales Rep’s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Accountability #1:

  • Order processing-perfecting orders
  • Job quoting- perfecting quotes
  • Respond to customer questions
  • Proactive cold calling skills

Accountability #2:

  • Provide product assistance and guidance
  • Promote the products
  • Be able to read drawings
  • Strong math skills

    Accountability #3:

  • Manage the customer’s expectations and experience.

  • Work closely with the Account Managers
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Good documentation skills and CRM system experience.
  • Light marketing duties, including organizing product flyers and samples.

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Salem office, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and external sales personnel for educational purposes and product functionality purposes with the goal of selling products - specifically our TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane).

  • You’ll be working with our sales team to secure orders and arrange delivery dates.
  • You’ll prepare quotes for new and current business and process customer purchase orders.
  • You will maintain ongoing records, including related information pertaining to customer calls, quotes, sales, etc. while maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
  • You’ll troubleshoot customer/internal challenges and follow through to resolution.
  • You will work cross functionally with production, scheduling, engineering, accounting and sales to ensure Gates meets and exceeds the customer expectation
