EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required. Concentration in Biology, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry strongly preferred. Advanced Degrees are a plus, but not a requirement – we have a mix of educational backgrounds on our team
EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-on laboratory experience, and/or customer facing experience is an asset as is a solid understanding of qPCR, Digital PCR or Sanger sequencing technologies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to travel to the US as needed for required meetings and customer visits is a requirement. This may include a variable work schedule to accommodate customer availability
- Must have a scientific background in the life sciences and the ability to develop a high level of product and technical understanding of our technologies and their applications over time.
- Knowledge of other Genetic platforms is valued.
- Goal-oriented mentality and proven ability to meet and surpass goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing business environment.
- Possess excellent organization skills and an individual sense of accountability, effective time management, self-regulation, and self-motivation.
- Ability to operate in competitive environments and the interpersonal skills to work with people with diverse abilities, personalities, and responsibilities is critical to success.
