JOB SUMMARY

We are actively seeking a new Inside Sales team member to join the Swegon team at our brand new office located in Ajax, ON. This is an exciting position with Vibro-Acoustics, by Swegon North America. Ideal qualifications include 2+ years of technical sales experience with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Reporting to the Director, Inside Sales, the successful candidate will focus on connecting customer needs to superior solutions, value, and service within Swegon North America.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of post-secondary education (University degree from a technical field, preferably with Mechanical Engineering)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of technical sales experience
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and schedules is a necessary prerequisite for this role
  • Self-motivated, energetic and professional
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer focused approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Clearly assessing, identifying and evaluating customer’s needs and promoting Swegon’s products and solutions (Noise Control and Acoustics)
  • Provide analysis to support product selections and solutions.
  • Issuing quotations, providing specifications and ensuring proper scope and best pricing is obtained by reviewing drawings and other supporting documentation
  • Provide consistent follow up and negotiations with External Representatives on documentation and quotations, ultimately converting to orders
  • Completion of order processing to ensure proper scope, descriptions, construction, and performance are presented
  • Completion of change notices as per guidelines from Project Managers
  • Developing relationships with Representatives by providing highest level of proactive customer service and follow up
  • Achieving sales targets and objectives as established by the Sales Manager
