About the role:
As a senior member of our Advanced Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven initiatives across the enterprise.
Leading a small team, your responsibilities will include leading analytics projects, introducing cutting-edge technology, and ensuring the implementation of best practices.
You will be accountable for ensuring that Analytics capability is built and implemented reflecting leading Analytics practices and our teams’ aspiration to build the best retail data capability.

What’s involved:

  • Develop analytics solutions that address strategic business challenges and facilitate informed decision-making
  • Lead day-to-day operations for the data analytics and insights team
  • Work with business stakeholders to shape use cases from requirements and gain commitment for adoption of solutions delivered
  • Identify and manage areas of duplicative effort and coordinate across analytics teams for maximum efficiency
  • Use innovative approaches to discover new insights in existing data and incorporate new data for additional insight

Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have experience managing and delivering complex technical outcomes that are highly numerate and commercially focused and be able to present them in a way that is easily understood by executive stakeholders.
You are a detail oriented, flexible, adaptable, problem solver who is forward thinking and lateral in their approach to work with strong analytical, conceptual and collaboration skills.
You will be a people leader who leads by example both on and off the tools.

You’ll need:

  • Proven demonstrated experience within a similar position
  • Strong technical and people leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Python or R, along with familiarity with R Studio tools and SQL
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence key stakeholders
