Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- To undertake delegated responsibilities from the Installation Supervisor, PrIM for the delivery of site works, the field operation manager takes responsibility for a stage / package / section of installation within the project contracted installation scope.
- Execution of equipment installation activities in the field and onboard according project planning and Installation Supervisor orientations and instruction.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Installation Team Leader or the Installation technician will assume all worker responsibilities as such:
- Execute of specific installation activities according the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation / instruction.
- Comply with EHS procedures and maintain PPE defined by EHS, make sure collective protections are in place, and alert the supervisor / PrIM whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk is identify.
- Make sure he has the right means to perform the installation:
- Tools calibrated
- Understanding of drawings and Method statement
- Right material
- Accurate knowledge / training for performing the work
- Perform activities with quality – No deviation versus drawings and method statement = No punch point -
- eport and alert the hieratical superior if any risk, difficulties or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the performance of the work.
In addition as Team Leader / Capataz, he will assume following responsibilities:
- Manage the team for performing a task in a work location: Review up to date documentation, verify tools, verify skills and train worker if required, verify availability of material and equipment for the team to perform the tasks required, make sure access is given for performing the work …
- Perform reports as per request to the Installation Supervisor / PrIM: Daily progress report, survey report, anomaly report, EHS report, Preparation of handover report …
- In addition as Fiber Optic Installation Technician – UTP Wiring and Connection, he will assume following responsibilities:
- Have an expertise for some critical tasks – for example technical: Fiber Optical (Installation, fusion and Testing), UTP (Wiring and Connection), …, Process: special processes … - and therefore will be dedicated for these tasks on several previous projects.
- Will train and assess project team – Support Team Leader or Worker – for the developing skills and competencies on his expertise knowledge for a dedicated project.
