Description:

On behalf of our client, a globally operating bank, Swisslinx is looking for an Institutional Clients Assistant to join the local team in Geneva. In this versatile role you would partner with Regional Relationship Managers on an assigned portfolio of clients, by providing consistent, enthusiastic, high quality support of relationship management activities.
This would be a temporary position for 9 months with the possibility of a subsequent extension.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Relationship Managers in support of new business and revenue growth for a designated portfolio of clients.
  • Provide guidance and support to the dedicated in-country network and co-ordinate closely with Bankers in the coverage team.
  • Support account strategies by developing an institutional understanding of the client, eg; their treasury model and philosophy, funding model and cash management strategy, wallet sharing and bank group, decision making, subsidiary support policy.
  • Assist the Relationship Manager in implementing calling plans, call tracking, joint pipeline reviews and internal client remapping tasks, and placemats creation and update.
  • Drive the credit approval process, respond to credit requests and enquiries, monitor credit lines and usages, support over-rides, recommend efficiencies.
  • Ensure Legal, Support and Credit documentation is up to date.
  • Support the resolution of Compliance/KYC/AML related risk issues

Your Profile:

  • Prior experience in banking, ideally in a RM assistant or account management role
  • Understanding of KYC and regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of banking products (cash management, trade, FX, loans)
  • Ability to manage demands from several sources, working to tight deadlines, multitasking
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and similarly at all levels on the client side
  • Full fluency in English, French would be beneficial
