Description:

  • 3+ years of with Excel experience
  • 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
    Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? Amazon Fresh is looking for an experienced In-Stock manager. In this role, you will own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will support excellent inventory management, build an effective supply chain, and drive successful interactions with our partner teams. To be successful in this role, you should feel comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to allow our business to grow. In joining this team, you will have the opportunity to both build and operate in an ambiguous fast-paced environment and will drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and process improvement within retail and operations.
    The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-starting and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. You must demonstrate passion for the customer experience. You must be results oriented and able to manage both strategic and tactical activities in parallel.
    As the In-Stock Manager, you are the subject matter expert for supply planning, order management, retailer support, availability, allocation for current and upcoming products as well as process improvement to streamline internal processes.

Key job responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent in-stock rates for owned categories whilst minimizing wastage
  • Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as In-stock rate, Vendor Lead Time (VLT), Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy and Turns
  • Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, develop action plans and project manage improvements with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Work with internal teams collaboratively, to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and procurement workflows, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Singapore, SGP

  • Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
  • Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
