The mission of the Organisational Development team is to drive the growth and success of Version 1 by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through coaching support, people manager development, leadership strategy, and effective change management.
As an Instructional Designer, you will enhance the experience of the learners interacting with engagements from Organisation Development. The role will operate in a fast past, ever-changing environment. It will include consultancy and development of online immersive learning experiences and digital content. Your expertise in instructional design, multimedia development, consultancy and technical skills will be crucial in creating effective and interactive online learning experiences for the organisation.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the design and development of engaging, learner-centred eLearning courses utilising Articulate 360 and other content-authoring tools.
Perform full quality checks and testing of eLearning courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) environment.
Serve as a resource and expert for all team initiatives’ graphic design and multimedia development.
Work closely with relevant SME’s across Version 1 to translate complex, technical topics into engaging and accessible online content through user interfaces, graphics, illustrations, animations, video, and/or simulations for e-learning courseware.
Apply expert knowledge of adult learning principles and theories to the development of course activities and interactions.
Ensure all courses adhere to development standards and update existing courses as needed to bring them into alignment with standards and best practices.
Develop and test innovative prototypes for eLearning development tools and methodologies.
Work with cross-functional team members to ensure team success and deliver value.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience developing multimedia eLearning experiences with tools such as Articulate 360.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while managing multiple priorities. Version 1 is a fast-paced organisation on a significant growth trajectory and our Org Dev Team is agile in our approach to supporting this growth trajectory.
Experience in designing and creating motion graphics videos and video animation.
Experience in multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation.
Superb attention to detail in creating high-quality content and following content development processes.
Excellent communication and consultancy skills to the wider organisation on how Instructional Design can support their learning needs.
Strong ability to troubleshoot eLearning course support issues and independently find resolutions.
Ability to present complex concepts in simple ways.
Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
Utilise adult learning methodologies and apply them to the development of eLearning experiences.
Experience in ensuring that materials are accessible to learners with disabilities, in compliance with accessibility standards like WCAG.
Knowledge of current and emerging tech trends in content creation, specifically AI, and an ability to evaluate and apply new and evolving eLearning technologies, especially those that support adaptive learning.
Ability to leverage data analytics to personalize learning experiences and improve learner outcomes.

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE WITH OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO THE DUBLIN OFFICE SO YOU MUST BE COMMUTABLE TO DUBLIN. GIVEN THE URGENCY, NO WORK PERMITS WILL BE COMSIDERED.
