EXPERIENCE

• Experience teaching in an Integrated CPL or ATPL program is an asset
• 5 years of Commercial Flying Experience (PIC experience preferred)
• Previous instructing experience
• A completed post-secondary diploma or degree in Aviation is preferred
• Beechcraft King Air experience is preferred but not required

• Proficiency in delivering high-quality simulator and ground instruction in alignment with TM, OM, SOPs, and Transport Canada guidelines.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to teamwork, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
• Commitment to equity in education.
  Note: A teaching demonstration may be required during the recruitment process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Chair of the School of Aviation and under the guidance of the Chief Flight Instructor or designate, an MCATT Instructor is responsible for:

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS AND RECORD-KEEPING

• Accurately maintain flight records, logs and forms for each training event.
• Assist with the development of training materials and assigned projects under the direction of the Phase Leads and CFI.
