Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for experienced, creative, and dynamic individuals to teach onsite (in-person) courses in the Construction Project Management Program in the Summer 2024 semester.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary 3-year Advanced Diploma or Engineering Degree in Civil, Construction, or Environmental related discipline
- Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or Construction Engineering is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or related industry
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Managing construction projects, estimating, planning and scheduling, contract administration, Ontario Building Code
- Professional Certification, Membership with OACETT an asset, P.Eng. designation or qualification an asset, EIT qualification an asset, PMP designation an asset
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies and Learning Management Systems are required
- Certificate in Adult Education an asset
- Knowledge/experience in curriculum development and student evaluations an asset
