Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for experienced, creative, and dynamic individuals to teach onsite (in-person) courses in the Construction Project Management Program in the Summer 2024 semester.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary 3-year Advanced Diploma or Engineering Degree in Civil, Construction, or Environmental related discipline
  • Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or Construction Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or related industry
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Managing construction projects, estimating, planning and scheduling, contract administration, Ontario Building Code
  • Professional Certification, Membership with OACETT an asset, P.Eng. designation or qualification an asset, EIT qualification an asset, PMP designation an asset
  • Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies and Learning Management Systems are required
  • Certificate in Adult Education an asset
  • Knowledge/experience in curriculum development and student evaluations an asset
