Description:
Scope of work:
Undertake the maintenance, calibration and repair of process control equipment, in accordance with correct procedures and standards, and provide work direction to technicians.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Calibrating electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
- You will test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Maintain calibration records for all equipment
- Follow and maintain all calibration procedures in the Quality Procedure Manual
- Review documents with auditors
You will assist or develop calibration procedures.
Setting up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and temperature Gauges.
Additional duties may include:
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Perform certifications.
Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Requirements:
Completion of secondary technical education (12 years) plus 2 years advanced vocational education in instrumentation systems.
10 years experience in the maintenance, repair and calibration of a variety of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, with a background in computer systems, 5 years of which in a Senior Technician position, preferably in the oil & Gas industry.
Good command of English language, written and spoken. Excellent computer skills, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint
