Instrumentation Technician

• Participate, support, and maintain compliance to the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, 5S program, policies, procedures, safety programs, and activities as defined within the company’s published management system documentation
• Locating and diagnosing the cause of malfunction or failure of process analyzers and performing the necessary preventative or corrective maintenance
• Interfacing with site operators, engineers and maintenance personnel
• Testing valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings using precision testing equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing existing equipment
• Reading and interpreting wire diagrams, prints, and P&ID’s
• Working with testing equipment and software programs to perform calibrations and testing
• A good foundation in basic mechanical and shop skills such as general maintenance, HVAC, lighting, plumbing
• Ensuring applicable maintenance targets and schedules are achieved
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• must have minimum 5 yrs of work experience
