EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree, bonus points if in the sciences!
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of sales experience, familiarity with or science background preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
- Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proven commercial excellence working in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve forecasted sales goals for territory, supporting external partners and selling directly to customers.
- Provide support and assistance to customers, OEM’s and engineering firms that will improve long-term business results and relationships.
- Meet and exceed customer requirements including overall communication, responsiveness, cost awareness and scheduling sensitivities
- Maintain and continue to develop an outstanding knowledge of our products and their applications.
- Select, train and motivate Independent Sales Organizations (ISO) to optimize achievement of our sales goals via their efforts.
- Coordinate sales activities with other territories, product lines and the inside sales team.
- Provide forecasts, weekly reports, marketing intelligence and information to supervisor and other company personnel as the need arises. Utilize Salesforce.com daily by updating and adding notes, customer information, etc.
- Available to travel overnight approximately 50% of time.
- Report sales data optimally through CRM and other tools.
