SALARY

£27,736.12 per annum
We are seeking an Insurance Administrator based at our Head Office at West Ham Garage to provide support in realising an improvement in the speed of which 3rd party claims are priced and submitted back to our Insurance Handler and allow us to maximise on our return through speed and capturing more costs.

The main duties of this interesting and very busy post will include:

  • To complete all accident costing sheets and submit them to our claims handler
  • In liaison with the Engineering Managers and other departments to ensure that the needs of our claims handler are met at every stage.
  • To monitor and ensure that all claims are processed within a reasonable timescale and maximising on the return for the business.
  • Track on a weekly basis the number of open and closed claims
  • Create trackers to ensure that information can be provided about claims and financial potential returns for the SLT and finance team
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by senior management that lay within the scope of the jobholder’s responsibilities.

Applicants should possess sound personal skills including; communication, self motivation, accuracy and quality. The ability to plan and prioritise work is also essential. A good understanding of computer systems including word processing and basic spreadsheets is also required.
The salary for this post is £27,736.12 per annum for a 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday working between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.
