Description:
Intake Assistant
The Intake Assistant will work collaboratively with the Family Engagement team to ensure the execution of high quality ERSEA systems and policies that are in full compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Family Development Services policies and procedures. The Intake Assistant supports the program and ensures that it is fully enrolled, reaches HS eligible children and families in our communities, maintains high levels of attendance and delivers the highest level of customer experience to our families throughout the recruitment, application and enrollment process
The Intake Assistant’s responsibilities chiefly fall within the following core functions, although s/he may perform other tasks as needed:
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must have experience working in a clerical support position
- Demonstrated high quality customer service
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license, at least minimum automobile insurance coverage and availability for local travel as needed
