YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Overseeing large Patient Monitoring products, solution and improvement projects/programs
- Accountable for on-time, on-budget, on-quality results
- Collaborative decision-making with business leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including product marketing, design, R&D, Q&R, OPS
- Ensure comprehensive daily management system for project delivery
- Expertise in Quality Management System (QMS) to tailor project deliverables
- Create smart, lean project plans with escalation plans for roadblocks
- Utilize product development approaches like MBSE for decision-based plans
- Conduct proactive risk assessments and mitigation
- Establish cohesive, collaborative team culture
- Implement resource and cost planning/tracking
- Lead project reviews, engage stakeholders for decision-making
- Passion for leading dynamic teams and driving results
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Many years of hands-on product development experience, including hardware, software, and system components, with at several years in the development of medical devices.
- Proven experience in managing projects from conception to market launch, covering design, verification and validation, industrialization, and regulatory clearance.
- Strong team leadership skills and experience, with the ability to facilitate large team workshops, manage team dynamics, and inspire high performance.
- Skilled in leading multi-site and multi-cultural project teams.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring solutions, understanding customer needs/environment, and knowledge of key technologies in the field.
- Experience with planning and implementing tools and processes.
- Ability to manage senior and executive stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- High drive, positive attitude, and resilience to overcome people, organizational, process, and technical challenges.
- Fluent in English, proficiency in German is beneficial; any other European languages are a plus
