INTRODUCTION

As a cornerstone of our IT department, the Integrated Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the seamless operation and integration of key platforms including Microsoft Office, Azure, AWS, Autodesk PLM, and GitLab. This position demands a blend of expertise in system administration, cloud services, and the management of software lifecycles. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our integrated systems’ performance, integrity, and security enabling our company to function at its peak efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Administer, fine-tune, and troubleshoot environments based on Microsoft Office, Azure, AWS, Autodesk PLM, and GitLab.
• Optimize Cloud services for efficient utilization of the resources.
• Spearhead the integration and optimal functioning of cloud services and software development platforms.
• Devise and enforce access control and security policies across all platforms to safeguard company data.
• Regularly monitor system health, perform system audits, and apply necessary upgrades or patches.
• Automate administrative tasks and streamline deployment processes through script development.
• Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to bolster continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Offer technical assistance and guidance to users, promoting effective utilization of integrated systems.
• Oversee the operation, configuration, and upkeep of computer systems, networks, and equipment.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in system administration, cloud services, and software tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven IT administration experience, especially with Microsoft Office, Azure, and AWS.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting languages, network infrastructure, and security best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect) are desirable.
