The Integration Architect will sit within our Integration Architecture team to design and manage the integration architecture for our EGL. Your primary goal will be to ensure simple, seamless and secure process relay and data flow between applications and data sources for Endeavour’s Team Technology landscape.
You will collaborate closely with architects, solution managers and Program teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our integration processes.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • At EGL,we have taken an iterative approach to defining our target state, you will be responsible for designing and implementing any new integration solution that will be integrated into the overall Integration architecture.
  • Integration Architecture for Team Technology: Comprising but not limited to HR & Payroll applications, Store systems( POS, back-of-house functions, shelf ticketing) , Loyalty applications, Venue systems (for F&B and booking), Service Now and their operational integration with ERPs, E-commerce, OMS, and other systems.
  • Working closely with the Architecture and product teams, you will support the product/project teams in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop integration architecture blueprints, patterns, and standards to guide the design and implementation of integration solutions.
  • Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate integration approaches and technologies before full-scale implementation.
  • You will participate in workshops, design integrations, identify patterns and when gaps are identified, you will conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments(including POCs) to evaluate integration options and advise appropriate technologies and platforms to the Architecture review board for approval
  • You will also play a governance role to ensure that the design guidelines and patterns are being adopted by the SI partners engaged on the initiatives.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions to ensure optimal throughput, latency, and resource utilisation.
  • Collaborate with Application owners,, Infrastructure, Network, Security, and operations teams to design integration solutions and ensure operational stability and reliability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integration architecture. Continuously assess and enhance the organization’s integration capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

  • 9+ years of IT experience with 5+ years specialising in Integration design and development.
  • Solid understanding of integration principles, best practices, and patterns.
  • Experience in designing, building, and troubleshooting integrations using Middleware Tools or the platforms
  • Experience in batched, Real-time/Near real-time Integrations between on-premise and cloud solutions, File-Based, API-led, event and message-based designs.
  • Hands-on experience with B2B integrations.
  • Knowledge of native cloud- GCP and/or Azure toolsets.
  • Strong knowledge of security considerations.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing DevOps processes/tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with WebMethods/ SAP PO/SAP CPI is an added advantage.
