Description:

WE ARE RECRUITING FOR AN INTEGRATION ENGINEER TO JOIN US HERE AT OCTAVIUS.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
You’ll be working on:
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain integrations between various corporate systems and data flows vital to our operations. Your responsibilities will include supporting and maintaining current integrations, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and complying with data governance and security policies.
You will work closely with the Digital Transformation Manager to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and design new solutions. You will also create and implement new integrations for key corporate systems, such as the HR, Learning Management, Project Management, and Financial systems, as well as external Client Asset Management systems.
Your role involves documenting integration processes and staying current with emerging technologies to continually enhance our integration capabilities. You will also provide additional support to the Technology team.

  • Your strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in integration engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a Microsoft environment and with point-to-point integration.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies and standards, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and messaging protocols such as MQTT and AMQP.
  • Strong programming abilities in Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly Azure.
  • An understanding of enterprise integration patterns and the best practices for creating resilient, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions.
  • Experience in code and infrastructure management, with a preference for CICD in Azure.
