DESCRIPTION

The Integrations and Applications Specialist assists in integrating third-party applications with Banner, the university’s ERP system, and develops and supports applications to support various university functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming experience through a previous job or online course.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with administering and supporting software applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks (e.g., Django, jQuery, PHP).
• Experience with integrating applications or developing web applications.
• Interaction with RESTful Web Services APIs / JSON
• Experience with Git version control and GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of higher education systems and processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with user support and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with a variety of third-party applications and their integration with enterprise systems.

• Support and administer a variety of third-party and in-house applications, ensuring their smooth operation and resolving user issues.
• Assist senior team members in integrating applications using Python, Constituo (IPaaS provider), SQL, PL/SQL and other methods.
• Develop and maintain custom applications using Python, Django Rest Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration processes and application development.
• Assist in documenting integration processes, application development procedures, and application support guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
