ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about addressing complex integration issues, adept at working with data, and enjoy thriving in a collaborative, dynamic environment with a small team of passionate individuals. In addition to your integration expertise, you should also feel comfortable assisting in the QA process, actively helping identify issues and resolving bugs. This multifaceted role will allow you to contribute to both the quality of our integrations and the success of our team. You will also have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in integration engineering, API development, automated testing or related roles.
  • We are seeking someone with proficiency in programming, with expertise in languages like Python, which aligns with our preferred technology stack.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, and other integration protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud AWS and containerization technologies (Docker)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Integrations are at the core of our product and define what makes Tenzo, well, Tenzo. With over 70 integrations and counting, we’re constantly expanding our capabilities!

At Tenzo, our Integrations engineers play a pivotal role in shaping how our product integrates and interacts with external systems, partners, and platforms.
Recently, we’ve made a strategic decision to invest in a dedicated team whose primary focus will be integrations. This team will lead the charge in innovation, enhancing the functionality, scalability, and connectivity of our new and legacy integrations, ultimately delivering seamless experiences for our valued customers and partners.

SOME OF THE THINGS YOU WILL DO:

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including a Product Manager, Manual data testers and two other integrations engineers, to design integration solutions that meet customer needs and align with our product roadmap.
  • Development and Implementation: Build robust, scalable, and efficient integrations using industry-standard protocols and APIs. Ensure the reliability and security of integration points.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, providing technical expertise and support to the PM, internal team and external partners.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, API endpoints, and data mapping to facilitate smooth onboarding and knowledge sharing for your colleagues and partners.
  • Performance Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimise integrations for performance, efficiency, and reliability. Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a product manager, a quality assurance engineer, two other integrations engineers and the customer success team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of integrations.
  • Integration Strategy: Help us to develop and execute the integration strategy to enable our Tenzo product to seamlessly interact with a large variety of third-party systems and services in the most efficient and cost effective way.
