About you
Appointments in the CCC are merit-based and will be assessed by looking at what you have done previously, the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities which align with the leadership competencies and the CCC’s values.
Possession of tertiary qualifications (minimum 3 year bachelor degree) relevant to the roles (e.g. such as social science, justice, law, criminology and psychology) is a requirement. Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in strategic and operational intelligence within a law enforcement agency
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding and developing other intelligence practitioners in this environment
- Highly developed critical thinking and analytical skills and demonstrated expertise related to the intelligence discipline
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills and proven experience communicating with influence and negotiating confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work positively in a team environment by managing expectations, building collaborative relationships and navigating interpersonal differences
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to take personal responsibility for managing workloads and priorities to achieve results and support the strategic direction of the organisation
