Description:

Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS’ signalling system.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
About the Role
As Interface Project Manager, you will play a critical role in facilitating management, monitoring progress, and proactively supporting issues resolution between all Cross River Rail (CRR) delivery interfaces. Interfaces includes three major work packages with differing contractual arrangements and Queensland Rail as the network operator. Your focus will be on enabling successful integrated delivery, ensuring a smooth evolution of handover requirements and operational readiness for CRR assets and systems across all work packages.
By working closely with internal resources, suppliers, and external partners, you will promote a collaborative environment, ensuring activities are planned and executed to achieve coordinated and integrated development, delivery, testing, and assurance. Working from our modern corporate offices in Brisbane’s CBD, this opportunity is offered as a contract until March 2026 with possible extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Interface Agreements as the delegate for the Integrated Delivery team.
  • Chair all Integration & Delivery Working Groups, including facilitating the development of agendas, meeting content and distribution of meeting records.
  • Monitor Interface Registers and Interface Control Document communications to ensure compliance and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Prepare governance reporting as required on a regular basis.
  • Monitor interface issues and risks, providing strategic advice, mitigation measures and solutions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interfacing parties and stakeholders to monitor progress in identification, development, documentation and reporting of technical and program interface deliverables.
  • Contribute to the review and monitoring of Integrated Target Delivery Schedule and management plans associated with inter-contract and other key interfaces.
