ROLE DESCRIPTION

Work alongside our team of experienced Registered Architects (QP) as an Interior Architectural Designer today and experience how architecture could bring interior design to a whole new level!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (SUBJECT TO COMPANY’S DISCRETIONARY CHANGES ACCORDING TO JOB EXIGENCIES)

• Customer Experience & Relationship
  a) Prompt follow-up with prospective clients and establish good working relationships through initial service calls, in-person meetings, site visits etc.
  b) Maintain excellent customer experience and relationships with existing clients to ensure expectations are met and aligned.
  c) Liaise and coordinate with Clients and seek concurrence on photoshoots for completed projects

d) Pre-qualify prospective Clients by understanding project objectives, preferences, and design requirements

• Design Pitching

a) Developing initial design concepts, mood boards/images, and presentations. Conduct presentations to prospective Clients for confirmation
b) Manage a team of design drafters to come up with initial design concepts

c) Prepare design and construction fee proposal in consultation with Principal Architect, Contractors and suppliers

• Design Development

a) Upon confirmation of the project, to develop the detailed design in close alignment with regular Client touchpoints.
b) To manage a team of drafters to produce detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings and documents
c) Create material boards, sample boards, mock-ups and material/product libraries to present design schemes and selections to clients.

d) Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.

• Project & Construction Management

a) Draft out construction/fit-out timeline in consultation with Clients, Contractors and Principal Architect
b) Apply for relevant permits from authorities before starting site works
c) Purchase relevant insurances (if required) before starting site works
d) Arrange for taking over possession of site from Client
e) Arrange for initial defects check with contractor before starting site works
f) Schedule and arrange relevant trades contractor/suppliers to commence works on site in close adherence to project timeline
g) Attend site meetings with Client, Contractors and suppliers to follow up progress, decisions required and resolve issues
h) Provide timely regular updates to Client on-site progress
i) Defects check and management before handing over to the Client

j) Arrange for defects rectification during Maintenance Period

• Project Cost & Variation Management

a) Keep track of project fee and expenditure
b) Initiate claims to Clients and payments to contractors promptly to ensure timely completion of project
c) Track variations and ensure Client’s confirmation is obtained before work is carried out on site. To include all confirmed variations in both claims to Client and payment to Contractors
d) To manage final accounts and project close-out
