Our Project Management team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Montreal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience;
  • Experience as an owner’s representative is considered an asset;
  • Experience in complex projects is considered an asset;
  • Professionally qualified: PMP, P.Eng (preferred);
  • University degree or equivalent; Construction Project Management, Engineering or relevant;
  • Fully bilingual in both French and English;
  • In-depth understanding of project delivery models, including, construction management and design-bid-build;
  • Experience managing projects through design, procurement and construction;
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and frame solutions in a compelling manner;
  • Ability to adapt to changes and determine potential risk, while planning adequately to address them;
  • A team player with leadership abilities;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with people at all levels;
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • An expert using MS Office and MS Project;
  • Passion for business development and managing client relationships;
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; and
  • Will consider a combination of both education and years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Owner’s Representative, take responsibility for project delivery from concept to occupancy;
  • Acting as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time and on budget;
  • Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements;
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports;
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues;
  • Assist with continuous business development activities;
  • Support in the preparation of proposals;
  • Network regularly to promote the business, cross-selling and building new client relationships;
  • Provide mentorship, coaching and guidance to the team as designated.
