We are an independent advisory and investment firm providing specialist restructuring, cybersecurity, forensic, financial crime, performance improvement and real estate services. We help clients grow and maximise value, protect from financial loss and reputational damage and help recover value in tough times.
Our team of almost 500 specialists extends across Asia-Pacific and since 2002, our experts have been entrusted with some of the region’s most complex and sensitive commercial situations. We work together to solve the challenges facing corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors, and government clients. On every occasion, we provide bold and impactful solutions delivering growth, certainty, and value for all involved.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking commercially minded advisory professionals that are ready to lead, adapt, and innovate in a dynamic and ever-evolving business landscape to join our Townsville restructuring team.
You’ll help us provide companies tailored solutions to complex financial challenges to restructure and stabilise the business or to recover value on behalf of stakeholders. You’ll work across a variety of industries with a team that comprises unique backgrounds to bring diversity of thought.
You will be essential to the implementation of our most strategic work and will be part of a range of engagements from strategic restructurings through to trade on insolvencies. Restructuring partners will rely on you to work proactively as part of a team to deliver projects and navigate a diverse range of engagements.

In a role where no two days are never the same, your key responsibilities will include:

  • working closely with our clients to develop and deliver restructuring and insolvency strategies
  • work as part of an engagement team, managing multiple workstreams
  • interrogating financial information, evaluate options and prepare recommendations for our clients
  • helping clients analyse and understand the performance and position of their business
  • taking a “hands on approach” to implement solutions that are as varied as our clients’ challenges. This may include selling distressed assets, reorganising capital structures or trading on businesses
  • identifying and undertaking research on target companies and preparing pitch documents
  • participating in business development initiatives and marketing activities
  • work collaboratively with the team as they deliver creative and innovative solutions for their clients
  • contributing to your learning and development, and that of our team through coaching and mentoring
  • staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices, and adapt strategies accordingly.
