POSITION SUMMARY

The Intermediate Developer is responsible for designing, building, documenting, and testing system components to support the Transport and Logistics business at Canada Cartage. Responsibilities will include coding, testing, and debugging software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and implementing solutions that enhance our efficiency and competitiveness in the trucking industry. Additionally, you will assist in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, ensuring our IT systems remain robust, secure, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and code web and mobile components, integration interfaces, dashboards and reports.
  • Write technical specifications, use-case diagrams, and deployment documents.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and business representatives to understand and validate business requirements.
  • Manage application lifecycle to ensure smooth deployment and post-production modifications.
  • Provide day-to-day support to existing applications, integration interfaces, and reports for internal and external business customers.
