Description:
Overview:
Novant Health is seeking an Intermediate Dimensions Application Analyst. Information Technology Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including; knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.
Design information systems that are appropriate for users’ needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization’s information systems architecture. Under general supervision, collect and analyze information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system. Prepare flow charts, models, and procedures and conduct feasibility studies to design possible system solutions. Write system and configuration specifications so that when the system is implemented it will meet user needs. Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Obtain application systems certification. Pass all cert. with passing grade within three tries for each test or project, required. Ideal candidate will have Epic Beacon; Epic Willow Inpatient; and Epic Willow Ambulatory. (STRONGLY preferred.)
- Additional Skills (required): Knowledgeable of workflows and business function. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
- Pharmacy or IT background preferred.
