A growing software company, HQ’d in Vancouver with an office in Kanata, is looking for an Intermediate Core Java Developer to join their thriving R&D group. This individual will join a cast of several Developers on the design and implementation of back-end solutions for a specific product in their solution offering. A mid-sized company that specializes in providing network solutions to a wide-spread, global client-base, the development of high-availability, scalable applications is critical to their success. Although this company offers a competitive compensation package, they are rather known for their innovative software solutions and business growth. This software company is 100% remote-friendly and will consider talent across Canada.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Design and development of software applications, as well as the maintenance of existing applications
• Design database architecture, create/manage build scripts, and continuous documentation
• Continuous collaboration with team members in an Agile environment, as well as continuous research into up-and-coming, innovative technologies
