Description:
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Bachelor’s (with Honours) or higher in Operations Research, Computer Science, or other related field.
- Understanding of airline processes specific to either Crew Planning or Disruption Management.
- Previous experience with optimization engines in an airline context.
- Python scripting ability.
IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS NICE TO HAVE:
- Master’s / PhD in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a similar field
- Knowledge of large-scale integer programming software such as Gurobi or CPLEX (or equivalent)

THE ROLE WE ARE OFFERING YOU:
By joining our operations research team, you will have the opportunity to implement optimization engines within the context of flight operations.
Are you ready to:
- Interpret business requirements and convert them into parameters understandable by a mathematical engine.
- Walk through airline processes and how an optimization engine will fit into their overall picture.
- Set up reports to explain cause and effect to customers in the context of the parameter changes requested.
- Write Python scripts to help collate data and draw insights on optimization.
- Explain the output of optimization engines in a way that highlights cause and effect.
