Description:

POSITION AVAILABLE:

LATG is currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), Linux specific, to support NRL on-site at the NAVOCEAN command located on NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) support for ONE-NET authorizations. The ISSE is responsible for developing and maintaining the cybersecurity architecture of a system. They develop artifacts, perform control assessments and security testing to obtain authorizations through the system’s lifecycle.
Deliverables include artifacts submitted to eMASS to obtain/maintain approvals for ONE-NET authorizations according to the Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) Use Case Memo and the RMF Process Guide. ISSEs develop hardware / software lists, architecture and data flow diagrams, test results, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), list of ports, protocols, and services, and Memorandums for Record (MFRs).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Please note that all work will be performed on site (remote support is not an option) at NAVOCEAN. If you cannot work on-site you cannot be considered.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, those without cannot be considered due to the nature and location of this position.
  • Knowledge of DoD policies, processes, and procedures related to common duties for Information System Security Officers
  • command located on NASA Stennis Space Center
  • 4+ years of experience with supporting the development of A&A security plans or packages in support of IT systems accreditation (Authority to Operate - ATO), including the implementation and assessment of cybersecurity controls.
  • 4+ years of RMF Experience with implementing and assessing the implementation of DoD STIGs
  • Experience with conducting and interpreting ACAS vulnerability scanning and reporting.
