Drivers with 1 year or more of current tractor trailer experience are welcome to apply! Previous container experience at the Montreal ports is preferred.
Intermodal drivers are responsible for the movement of containers from the port and railyards in Montreal to various destinations in Ontario. Drivers will pick up loaded containers from Montreal and deliver them to various customers in Eastern Ontario and then return empty or loaded containers back to Montreal. Most deliveries are live unload with a driver often staying hooked to the same chassis for several days at a time. These positions allow drivers to return home to Prescott each night. Safety and patience are key considerations as drivers will be spending time in congested and busy rail yards with large equipment.
Opportunity Details:
- 1 year of verifiable Class-1/AZ experience is required
- 2 shifts available: aprox 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and Enjoy your nights and weekends at home! OR Maximize your earnings and stay out on the road Monday to Friday in a sleeper berth truck and Enjoy your weekends at home!
- Park location is Kriska’s Prescott Terminal
- Full time with benefits
- Pay is a mix of mileage and hourly with bonus programs. Earning potential of up to 90K per year!
